My name is Triple Moon, and i hold the first shift in Cill Piorra. I am a third generation herbalist, and solitary practitioner. I have always been very aware of my celtic roots on both my mother's side and my father's. I am very drawn to Brighid , mostly for her strength and her multiple facets. I have honored her on my alter for over twenty years. I am a certified aromatherapist, and have also been a massage therapist, a Reiki healer, and a Nurse. I honor the healing aspects of Bridgit. I have worn a tiny cauldron of Bridgit around my neck for the last fifteen years as a personal symbol of healing, and power.
My husband and I have recently relocated to Maui, Hawaii with our two beautiful cats, Brew and Willow. Currently I have started to perform wedding ceremonies here on Maui, and I love it! I am also the web-mistress of this site. Also I am the host/owner of cill piorra's 2 topica list sites.
I am proud to be a flame keeper of Ord Brighideach. As i enter more into my crone years i have a deeper appreciation for traditions such as this.
I come from a Catholic background, but i have been practicing both as a Solitaire and in a small eclectic coven for three years. At first i was drawn to many firey goddesses of battle, but now i am discovering another kind of fire. I have been a registered nurse for 25 years, and when i discovered Wicca, Brighid began to call to me with her gentleness and healing power. It is my prayer that she will bestow upon me further gifts, The power to heal both body and spirit, the power to soothe and comfort, and the power to inspire. May i draw from her well true wisdom. May she forge in me the fire to continue on my path.
I am Tanila. I am recently returned to Ord Brighideach after an absence of about a year. I am pleased to be assigned to Cill Piorra on the 18th shift . I am a 51 year old Crone. I have been a follower of the Goddess for many years. I am married to a wonderful man, Jacques (with a wonderful French accent to match his name) We have three children and eight grandchildren. We live in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. I am a retired nurse, (retired to babysit grandchildren). I now blend magickal oils for a living.
My name is Wanda and i hold the seventh shift for Cill Piorra. I live in Fort Worth, Texas but grew up,married, and raised my children in Virginia and always consider it home. My husband and I moved from Vurginia to Florida with his work, (American Airlines) and then to Texas almost three years ago. I will be celebrating my 55th birthday this year. I have been married for 35 years, and i am a retired Respiratory Therapist. My daughter, along with her family are still in Virginia, and a wonderful grandson who lights up my life with his smile.
I am a solitary practitioner and a follower of the Goddess Brighid for many years. I am also a Shield Sister. I work with many healing modalities, including being a Reiki Master/Teacher and work with crystals and animal totems/medicine. Both my maternal and paternal heritage is of Celtic roots, from thus i believe come my love of the Lady. We have been planning a pilgrimage to Ireland for a number of years. Hopefully that dream will manifest itself in the next couple of years.
I am so very proud to have the honor of being a flame keeper and to be given the opportunity to be part of Ord Brighideach !
Failte ! I'm Flutter and I reside in Central Texas. Whether it be watching the moon or taking a solitary walk, I try to make time to celebrate the Goddess in all aspects of my life, and i especially get inspiration from Brighid. She reminds me that I can integrate the various relations of the Goddess in my own life, being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and co-worker.
I would like to express my passionate appreciation for being a part of Cill Piorra , and Ord Brighideach tending Brighid's Flame.
The Brigid's Door Mail List is open to all, the Flamekeeper's list is for Ord Brighideach Members only.
Our Lady Brighid has aided my search to promote her light in this world, and gifted me with this 19th shift of Cill Piorra.
My birth name is Maureen, I'm a 51 year old transplanted Montrealer, and my Priestess training is as follows:
Initiation into the Shaiivite mysteries 30 years ago, (3 yrs) in the Himalayas and Kashmir.
Order of the Golden Solaris (OGS) 26 years ago (3 yrs) Minneapolis, Priestess in the High Magikal tradition, representing the Egyptian Goddess of Justice, lots of Middle Pillar work . I met my future husband Richard while working with the OGS.
Lunar vase, 20 years ago (5 yrs) a Goddess only offspring of the OGS, where I as drawn to the Imbolc mysteries, and found affinity with the Lady Brighid. Vajrayana pathwork in the Sakya tradition 15 years ago, with a focus on Red Tara, and Phowa. Red Tara is the fire aspect of Tara, and this furthured my understanding of solar Goddesses. my husband Richard and I were married by Sakya Trizin, during one of the Rinpoche's visits to Minnesota.
Solitary work for the past 10 years with a focus on Brighidine ceremony and Kabbalistic study. my solitary practice is my delight.
But....I am getting older and I want to further the known body of knowledge/practice devoted to Brighid. So, here I am, and She will guide me as always.
I currently work as an advanced practice RN in a psychiatric hospital, am a published songwriter and an urban guerilla poet. I'm married 12 years, have an 11 year old son, a 20 year old daughter who is a new mom, and a 2 mo. old grand-daughter Lulu. I love to sing, play with our resident cat Luna, and make potions. Big fan of Radiohead. I am doing research (meta-analysis) on web-sites devoted to Brighid. I am honored to tend one of the many flames kindled to the Bride, illuminating this earthly sphere.
"Goddess-oriented" spirituality has led me to Brighde and her sacred flame, both literally and figuratively. She first came to me as a Crone during an initiation ceremony, and has been my guiding light since. Keeping Her flame is a natural outcome for me. My 28 years with the Goddess has included many circles and covens, co-creating a women's spirituality school, and priestess program, and leading holy day rituals for the public whenever possible. I believe part of my purpose is to assist newcomers on their path to the Goddess. I have had the opportunity to lead tours of sacerd sites in England and Ireland, which is what took me to Kildare in 1992. Now, on my five acres in New Mexico, I have built and dedicated a stone circle to Her, and built a labyrinth for meditation and guidance. My land is my sacred site these days, until another trip to Her stomping grounds....
Brighde in Her muse aspect guides me in my creative process, Her aspects as healer and poet all come back to my work as artist and writer. My "real job" is a tour guide in beautiful northern New Mexico. I am honored to be holding the tenth shift with my sisters in the Light.
